Spalted Garry Oak

A one-of-a-kind hand-turned bowl made from Spalted Garry Oak.

This bowl has beautiful natural character, with warm golden tones, darker spalted markings, and rich movement through the grain. Measuring approximately 3.5 inches high and 7 inches wide, it is a lovely size for fruit, bread, dry snacks, table display, or holding special pieces in the home.

Each bowl is turned by hand by Rafe, making every piece unique. The natural colour variation, spalting, and markings are part of the beauty of the wood and cannot be repeated.

Finished with polymerized linseed oil and beeswax, this piece has a natural food-safe finish that helps protect the wood while bringing out its warmth and depth.

Care
