Plum Wood Lidded Vessel

A small hand-turned lidded vessel made from plum wood from Vancouver Island.

This piece has a warm, natural glow with rich golden tones, soft reddish markings, and beautiful grain detail. Measuring just over 3 inches high and approximately 4 inches wide, it is a lovely size for jewellery, dried herbs, salt, keepsakes, small treasures, or simple display in the home.

Each vessel is turned by hand by Rafe, making every piece one of a kind. The natural colour variation, grain, and markings in the plum wood are part of what make this piece unique.

Finished with polymerized linseed oil and beeswax, this vessel has a natural food-safe finish that helps protect the wood while bringing out its warmth and depth.
