This bowl was hand-turned by Rafe using elm sourced from Vancouver Island. The wood carries a beautiful, natural grain with soft variations in tone that shift gently in the light.
Each piece is shaped on the lathe, allowing the character of the wood to guide the final form. No two are the same, and this one holds its own details in the markings and grain.
Finished with food-grade polymerized linseed oil and pure, locally sourced beeswax from BC, it has a smooth, natural feel while remaining safe for everyday use.
A simple, solid piece that can be used daily or kept as something special on a shelf or table.
